when mommy and ella were at the star trek exhibition with grammy (see post http://thissurereallife.blogspot.com/2008/10/split-infinitive.html below), daddy and josiah had a "men's day" of beer brewing and getting dirty.the day began with a ride in daddy's chevy. i couldn't believe how tickled he was just to be sitting in the seat. it was pretty cute.
